The Berkeley English Department 19th Century Graduate Colloquium focuses primarily on British fiction, poetry, and prose throughout the long 19th century. We hold reading groups, workshops on graduate student's work in progress, as well as mini conferences.

This year, we are particularly interested in questions on the contemporary state of Victorian studies, as well as the evolution of historicist methodology in the field of 19th century scholarship.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please email us.

19th Century Graduate Colloquium organizers,
Rosetta Young (rwy210@berkeley.edu)
