Description

With a jump-start from the 19th century with Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, we will focus on books written for and/or read by children in the 20th and 21st centuries. Using a variety of critical techniques we will examine a range of texts (including one with no words).

Students will be expected to keep up with the reading, take quizzes, participate in class and write at least two papers.

This course is taught in Session C, June 20 to August 12.
