"This class will analyze discourses of ""home"" in the Victorian and Edwardian eras (ex: the degeneration vs. purity of the house) and how issues of crime and criminality are variously constructed in a cultural context of growing unease regarding the security of domestic spaces, national borders, and bodily integrity.
