Students interested in leading a DeCal course in the English Department for the Fall 2024 term must submit their application for review by Friday, May 3rd, 2024 via the English Department DeCal Proposal Form.
For planning purposes, please note that the proposal consists of the following:
• A completed Course Proposal Form
• A syllabus
• A letter of support from a member of the English Department faculty
*Please ensure that you've completed necessary training prior to submitting the proposal to us. The Department will let you know whether it has approved your course for consideration by the Academic Senate's Committee on Courses of Instruction (COCI) via email. If your proposal is approved by the department, you must submit all required materials directly to COCI by its deadline.
