We are delighted to announce that Professor Kevis Goodman's Pathologies of Motion: Historical Thinking in Medicine, Aesthetics, and Poetics has received honorable mention in the Society for Literature, Science and the Arts' annual Michelle Kendrick Memorial Book Prize. The Michelle Kendrick Memorial Book Prize recognizes "the best academic book on literature, science, and the arts published by an SLSA member..."
Pathologies of Motion has also been awarded The Jean-Pierre Barricelli Book Prize, which is awarded to "the year’s best book in Romanticism studies for the purpose of recognizing exceptional, even ground breaking work in the discipline." The prize is awarded by The International Conference on Romanticism.
