For the 2024-2025 school year, I am a first-year PhD student in the Department of English at the University of California, Berkeley. Currently, I am interested in Global Indigenous studies, Pacific islands literature, Indigenous nationalism, and feminist literary and cultural criticism. My previous work has interrogated feminist responses to Indigenous nationalism in the Pacific's postcolonial core and I continue to focus on work originating from and circulating throughout sovereign Pacific nations.
Although I am a newcomer to the Bay, I was born and raised on the central coast of California, so I'm excited to be back in my home state and working/studying at a proudly Californian-serving institution!
Most recently, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English from Vanderbilt University.
